Summary of Benefits

PTO:
SNF/AL/PCI Salary: Accrue PTO at rate of 0.0615/hour during their first year/16 days.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Consultant provides on-site sales support for Prestige communities as assigned. Assists in the development, training, and mentorship of Community Relations Directors and general marketing training and sales support for assigned communities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as a Community Relations Director (CRD) at assigned community.
  • Drives census by initiating and conducting marketing calls to discharge planners and outside representatives. Answers telephone inquiries, sends out community collateral, and makes follow- up calls to prospective residents or referral sources.
  • Conducts tours, home visits, and assessments offering an overview of the services, lifestyle, convenience, and benefits of the community in compliance with Prestige sales processes, policies, and philosophy.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and assisted living communities.
  • Visits and conducts presentations at doctors offices, senior centers, clinics, and organizations for seniors distributing sales and collateral literature.
  • Partners with Executive Director (ED) and regional sales team to develop and execute community marketing strategy. Conducts the activities delineated in the marketing plan in a timely and budget conscious manner.
  • Completes and maintains appropriate database documentation and paperwork and keeps ED and key stake holders up to date on inquiries, tours, outreach plans, reserved and occupied units, and move- ins and move-outs. Prepares and distributes marketing reports timely and accurately.
  • Represents Prestige and the community in welcoming prospective residents, family members, referral sources, and the public in a positive, helpful, and caring manner demonstrating company mission and philosophy.
  • Completes competitive market analysis and competitive positioning analysis as requested.
  • Attends business and community events where referral sources, prospective residents, care givers, and their advisors are in attendance.
  • Ensures that the marketing area, model rooms, and general appearance of the community are clean, safe, orderly, and decorated in a pleasing and professional manner.
  • Creatively addresses the needs and desires of prospective residents in a manner that protects their dignity and allows for personal resident choice.
  • Participates as part of the leadership team by actively contributing in problem solving, decision making, center and company-wide initiatives and attending leadership team meetings.
  • Establishes flexibility in the work schedule to accommodate scheduling appointments with prospective residents and participating in marketing and community events.
  • Maintains professional knowledge of industry trends and best practices through continuing professional education, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Provides leadership to CRDs to be successful in their position including onboarding, coaching, mentorship, and training. Provides on call support to CRDs as necessary.
  • Follows and trains on the companys sales process; guidelines and philosophy to CRDs, EDs, and front- line team members.
  • Assists communities with strategies and training to increase inquiries, conduct tours, plan marketing events and cultivate external sales relationships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two years of sales and marketing experience in the senior living industry. Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office required. Point Click Care experience preferred. Experience with budgets, closing sales, and public speaking preferred.

EDUCATION

Associates Degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has indirect supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both verbal and written with personnel at all levels of the organization, outside representatives, and with members of the community.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to maintain basic financial records of expenditures of the department/center/community. Able to understand budgets. Ability to maintain, understand and review all reports and records.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to accurately assess, trouble-shoot, and problem-solve needs and evaluate results.
